Tickets on Sale Next Week for the 8th Annual Taste of Carlsbad Village

Downtown Carlsbad will once again come alive with flavor this fall as the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) hosts the 8th annual Taste of Carlsbad Village on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale next Friday, August 29 and you won’t want to miss the foodie event of the year! For one evening only, food lovers will be treated to an unforgettable tour of the Village’s best restaurants, breweries, and wineries. Guests will enjoy 30 unique tasting opportunities from local eateries and over 15 sip stops offering everything from craft beer and local wines to creative cocktails and refreshing non-alcoholic options such as kombucha, mocktails, and NA beer.

The event is designed as a self-guided culinary adventure. With an official Passport in hand, one thousand guests will stroll through downtown Carlsbad, stopping along the way to sample dishes from some of the area’s most acclaimed restaurants. Favorites like Campfire, Jeune et Jolie, Bluewater Grill, Vigilucci’s, Kai Ola Sushi, Señor Grubby’s, and LePapagayo will be joined by exciting newcomers such as Wildland, ensuring both familiar tastes and new discoveries for attendees.

For those who choose the Food + Sip Stop ticket, the experience extends beyond the plate. Guests can raise a glass with pours from Pure Project, Carruth Cellars, Fig & Feather Bar Co., Witch Creek Winery, Sipwell Wines, Smile Spirits, and many more, as retail and business locations throughout the Village transform into tasting rooms for the night.

Adding to the excitement is the return of the VIP Experience, now in its fifth year. Limited to just 100 guests, this elevated package begins an hour early at 4:00 p.m. with a private champagne reception at Comman Goods, a gorgeously renovated new retail shop and event space. Live music, bubbles, appetizers, and reserved parking create a celebratory atmosphere before VIP guests head out into the Village with their Food + Sip Stop tickets in hand. Each guest will also take home a parting gift.

Tickets are priced at $55 for Food Only, $70 for Food + Sip Stop (21+), and $115 for the VIP Experience (21+).

Taste of Carlsbad Village has sold out every year since its inception, and 2025 promises to be no different. With its blend of culinary creativity, community spirit, and vibrant downtown setting, it is one of the most anticipated events on Carlsbad’s calendar.
